Soul Glo

My little bubba, Esther has the funkiest (and most unruly) hairdo ever. It just grows bigger, instead of longer. I thought I'd just share a picture with y'all so you can see just how huge this wig is. And if anybody has any pointers (or hair bobbles, clamps, staples, glue) on how to get this 'fro under control, I'm all ears.

Awwww, cute. It's like a little Richard Simmons hairdo. Just get her some tiny shorts and a sweatband and she's set! Ok, not really - - she's much too adorable to be a Richard Simmons look-alike. How about a headband instead? (A thick, flattening one.)

Have you tried the Geri Curl cream?

It may work.

:) She's a doll!

Oh, could she be cuter? Nope. I have two curlies and I use cheap grocery store curl stuff on 'em. For my son, who has coarser hair and tighter curls, I use a thick pasty creme, but my daughter's hair is finer and less curly, so I use a spray. Both products define the curls.

In my daughter's hair I always added a side part, just in the front, and a little clip with a bow on it. Who needs anything more, when you've got such fab hair!

Oh my goodness, she is the cutest!! I vote you keep it as is. As for the baby hair advice, I am clueless. I've got to learn how very soon!

Um. . . love, Love, LOVE. I love her hair! I think a head band would be cute too. She's a little gem.

All I wanted were curls. Well, and red. My husband - bless his curly auburn head - passed on none of these desirable genes. I'm totally coveting your daughters curls now, and will probably go to Hell for it.

Do I still need to mention how adorable she is, or does the coveting thing say it for me?

Ooooh, I'm so glad you're back, Claire. I was so mad at you for quitting blogging.

But now we can be friends again, especially if your offer for Rhett to come and live with you for the duration of this pregnancy is still on. Because that really IS what I want.
